It takes a lot of money to feed and maintain the Crowe's Nest critters. Just one cow eats about two tons of hay and four tons of grain per year. Then, there are the matters of veterinary care, cleaning, bedding, and shelter. Crowe's Nest receives approximately three to five calls per week regarding the placement of an animal that needs sanctuary. As you can imagine, we're very busy and our costs continue to increase. We've been at this for 25 years and we try to accommodate as many animals as possible. Many injured or orphaned wild animals that are non-releasable need us to construct habitats for them. Our current list of animals that need permanent housing facilities are: a bison, cougar, fox, elk, various birds of prey, and a coatimundi, but stay tuned for updates ... or feel free to contact us about a specific type of animal you'd like to adopt.
...you can choose particular animals to sponsor, monitor their improvement, and enjoy your investment! Contributions are tax-deductible as allowable by the Internal Revenue Service. Benefactor = $250 Charter = $100 Plower = $50 Sower = $25 |
