It is our intention to share with the public, especially children, the importance of the agriculture industry, and the wealth and diversity of Texas wildlife through hands-on education. Through children's observation of over 200 animals, we provide teachers an opportunity to enrich their science curriculum while increasing student's appreciation and wise stewardship of Texas agriculture and wildlife.

Simultaneously, Crowe's Nest provides sanctuary for many unwanted, abused, and orphaned animals. For those animals lucky enough to recover from injury, we facilitate their return to natural habitats. Crowe's Nest Farm is licensed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, and Wildlife Rescue, Inc. as a wildlife rehabilitator, and City of Austin Dangerous Wild Animal Permit.   
Up until 1998, Crowe's Nest operated solely on admission revenues. Crowe's Nest currently operates on 
revenues from admissions, grants and membership, including the option to adopt a specific animal.
In 1998, Crowe's Nest commenced a capital improvement campaign which resulted in the donation of 100 acres of land, plus grants for infrastructure at our new facility.

For families and individuals who are interested in making a difference, you can assist us in making Crowe's Nest the premier life-science learning center in Central Texas through membership in our popular Adopt-an-Animal program or by joining one of our membership levels...

Donation Membership levels and benefits

  
  • Individual:  $35     Free admission for one year.  Invitations to special events.

  • Friend/Plower:  $100     Family benefits + 2 extra guest passes, animal adoption certificate

  • Harvester:  $250     Friend benefits + personal photos with your favorite animal.

  • Patron:  $500     Harvester benefits + free family admission to all special events.

  • Charter:  $1000     Patron benefits + free host birthday party.

  • Benefactor:  $2500     Charter benefits + permanent and annual recognition

  • Gold:  $5000     Same as Benefactor + private use of farm and facilities.
